Blue Mountains Tree Frog, unframed A5 and A4 prints
As a herpetologist, I have a soft spot for all things frogs and one of my favourite Australian species is the Blue Mountains Tree Frog. They are endemic to south-eastern Australia and display a wide variation in patterns with beautiful green highlights. This artwork was a labour of love. Layers of watercolour paint were applied to create a realistic painting that highlights the intricacies in pattern, texture and colour that can be seen on this species.
